Beach volleyball

Beach volleyball is a team sport and belongs to the group of rebounding ball games. 2 teams consisting of two players each, face each other on a playing field of sand which is separated by a net.

The aim is to hit the beach volleyball over the net onto the ground of the adversary’s field without any auxiliary means (than your hands). In return players have to try to prevent that their adversaries manage to hit the ball onto their own field. A team is allowed to touch the ball only three times in a row before hitting the ball back to the other team.

In the 1920`s Beach volleyball originated in the USA from classical volleyball as a fun sports. Since 1994 Beach volleyball is set on the Olympic agenda. Since 1997 World Championships are hold. No matter if rookie or pro – everybody will be comfortable at our brand new, in-house competition court.
